Honestly, finding a good French mid-century style lamp that doesn’t feel like a cheap knock-off is getting harder these days. I ordered a batch of these for a small boutique hotel renovation we are doing in Melbourne, and I’m pretty impressed with the quality. The walnut finish has a nice, rich tone—not that plasticky look you sometimes get—and the crystal part actually has some weight to it.
The adjustable feature was the main selling point for us since the ceiling heights in the hallway vary a bit between the old wing and the new extension. It gives off a really warm, sophisticated vibe that fits the “retro-luxe” brief perfectly. Shipping to Australia was smoother than expected too. One of the brass fittings was a bit stiff to adjust at first, but nothing a bit of patience couldn’t fix. Will definitely keep iBuyOK in mind for our next fit-out.
